Joyful Hearts Winter Retreat

LuWiSoMo-Winter-Joyful-HeartsThursday January 2 – Sunday January 5, 2025

Join the fun at our Joyful Hearts Winter Retreat!

LuWiSoMo Joyful Hearts ministry is for individuals with developmental disabilities, providing a quality experience in a safe, Christian environment.

Campers take part in a variety of winter camp activities, but each activity is modified based on the needs of the camper. Activities include games, crafts, Bible Time, faith building activities, and outdoor adventures such as snow tubing and snowman building, as weather and camper health permit.

Our staff and volunteers are trained in working with campers with a variety of disabilities and are committed to ensuring each camper receives personal guidance and assistance as needed. We strive to maintain a two-to-one, or in some cases, one-to-one ratio of campers to staff/volunteers to ensure each camper has the best possible camp experience.

To ensure a safe and positive Christian environment for every camper, Camp LuWiSoMo expects each camper’s behavior, speech, and clothing are appropriate for the Christian atmosphere we are trying to model.
